LA Noire VR for PC comes back from the dead with a new content update

LA Noire has been a bit of a cult archetype in the gaming earth since its debut introduced a ton of exciting and thrilling detective mechanics and gameplay features. Years after its release, it would become a remaster for modern systems that showed how resilient those same mechanics were to the passing of time (despite the remaster itself beingness a fiddling lacklustre.) Now, the VR version of LA Noire that was released for PC effectually the same fourth dimension is getting new content in the form of three new minigames.

The minigames themselves aren't new, equally the the VR release of LA Noire on the PlaystationVR last September featured this content. However, this new update has been missing for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive headsets for PC gamers, with petty indication of if/when those players could expect information technology. Questions that have finally been answered, every bit the interestingly named Title Update 1.0.539.0 is now being released for the game.

The shooting gallery is probably the simplest of the three minigames, which is pretty standard thing for anyone who's played a shooter in VR. It has you shooting cardboard targets with various firearms. The boxing game takes the game's melee mechanics and lets you fight your mode through your opponents, while the racing game lets yous race around a circuit. The names for the minigames and update are a little uninspired, just this should exist a welcomed injection of new content for fans of the championship on PC.

If y'all're interested in picking the game up, you lot can grab information technology from Steam for $30.
